Aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie werden die Vorlesung und das Tutorial während der regulären Unterrichtszeiten per Videokonferenz-Software unterrichtet. Die Vorlesungs- und Tutorialmaterialien werden auf der Online-Lernplattform OLAT zur Verfügung stehen. Informationen über die Teilnahme an der Klassen-Videokonferenz werden auch in OLAT zur Verfügung gestellt.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the lecture and tutorial will be taught via video conference software during the regular class times. Lecture and tutorial materials will be available on the OLAT online learning platform. Information on how to joint the class video conference will also be made available on OLAT.

Inhalt

The course introduces students to the most important theories of international trade. The objective is to enable students to assess the causes of international trade and its consequences for structural change in the economy, income distribution and social welfare. Students will also learn how to evaluate the effects of trade policy.
