Diese Übung ist eine Pflichtveranstaltung für 1-Fach-Bachelor Biologie im 4. Semester sowie für 2-Fach-Bachelor Biologie im 6. Semester. StudentInnen aus anderen Fachsemestern können nur zugelassen werden, wenn darüber hinaus noch Plätze frei sind.

Genetik, Zytogenetik, Humangenetik, molekulare Genetik (DNA, RNA, Genome, Replikation, Transkription, Translation, Genregulation, Epigenetik), Rekombination, Mutation, Gentechnologie, Entwicklungsgenetik, Grundlagen der mikrobiol. Methoden (Mikroskopie, Anreicherung, Kultivierung), morphol. und physiol. Differenzierung von Mikroorganismen (Gram-Färbung, Antibiotika, Stoffwechselanalysen) genetischer Austausch zwischen Mikroorganismen
