- Pubertät ist durch die Aktivierung des Fortpflanzungssystems gekennzeichnet und geht mit dem bedeutendsten Umbau des Gehirns im Leben eines Menschen einher. Diese biologisch, psychologisch und kulturell bedeutsame Entwicklungsphase ist mit der Aktivierung sexueller Strategien bei Jungen und Mädchen verbunden. Auf dem Hintergrund der Theorie sexueller Selektion, dem Bateman-Prinzip, der Parental-Investment-Theory und der Entwicklung menschlicher Paarungssysteme werden die sexuellen Strategien - von der Kindheit bis zum Erwachsenenalter - diskutiert. Aus dieser Perspektive soll ein Verständnis kinder- und jugendpsychiatrischer Problemstellungen, wie dem ADHS, dem Autismus, oder der Anorexie, entwickelt werden. Aktive Mitarbeit wird erwartet (Referat).
