- Since the mandatory tutorials for Bachelor students are substituted for by an independent study module and Master students thus will not need to teach a tutorial, the tutor mentoring will take the form of a seminar “Literary Theory in Practice”. “Literary Theory in Practice” is dedicated to the discussion of the texts and approaches presented in the lecture and on the question of how the issues discussed could be of relevance for a broader public. The seminar will reflect on and produce formats by which literary theory and theoretical knowledge can be conveyed to a larger, non-academic public (e.g. audio or poster presentations, podcasts, explanation video). Producing, reflecting on, and discussing such formats will prepare students for the oral exam.
