- Contents
- The lecture deals with measurement techniques with regard to specific problems of microwave engineering, for instance caused by signal propagation delays. In the first chapter different techniques for power measurement are presented in order to detect signals and their strength. After scalar S-parameter measurements the focus is on vector network analyzers. In this chapter the system design of a heterodyne networkanalyzer, its problems occuring in practical realizations and their solutions are discussed. At the end of the lecture systems for spectrum analyses are presented. Within the framework of the exercises measurements were made in the laboratory.
